Why should you equip yourself with slings and carriers especially for vacation?

Summer is a time full of sun, joy, good food and meetings. It is also a time of vacation, smaller and larger trips. There are many travel options - from daily trips around the neighborhood, through seaside resorts, mountain walks, to foreign trips to warm countries. Regardless of how you're spending this summer, it's a good idea to remember to bring the essentials. Clothes, cosmetics or food are only part of your luggage. And what about all the accessories you will need on vacation with your baby? We certainly focus on comfort and safety of both parents and little ones. In addition to the stroller, car seat or travel crib, it is worth thinking about a sling or a baby carrier. In recent years they have become increasingly popular, which does not surprise us at all!

The benefits of babywearing in a sling and a baby carrier.

Babywearing in a sling has many benefits for both the baby and mom or dad. Thanks to this, an incredible bond is created between the parent and the baby. While carrying, the little one is close to the parent, and can signal their needs or find comfort at any time. Parents, on the other hand, not only have their baby always in sight, but also gain free hands and can perform almost all daily activities - with the baby at their side.

What to choose when there are so many options?

At first, it may be difficult to choose the right sling, because there are so many patterns and types. Pay attention to the dimensions, which you have to choose according to the babywearing person. You should have no problem with this, as the sizes of slings usually correspond to the sizes of clothes you wear every day. If you wear a European size 36, a 3.6 m sling will be fine, but to be able to tie different carries, it is better to get a longer one - 4.2 m. If your size varies between two sizes, choose the bigger one. It is also important to choose the right kind of fabric - bamboo baby slings are softer and more suitable for the summer season. Wool and linen slings are usually thicker and have a higher carrying capacity, so they are suitable for slightly older babies, weighing over 8-10 kg. Today we will look at models of slings and carriers that are recommended for warmer days thanks to their fabric. Let's start with baby carriers.

2. Ring slings are good for anyone who wants to start their adventure with babywearing. They will be loved by parents who have problems with tying long baby slings. The ring slings can be tied quickly and easily, thanks to rings at one end of the sling. In a ring sling the fabric is firmly held on those two aluminium rings, it will not slip while you are wearing it, which provides maximum comfort and safety for you and your baby.
